Hello! My name is Megan Martin. I’m a professional writer and editor, and have been for the past 14 years. I started out as a music editor for SOMA Magazine, then as a freelance music journalist for pubs like XLR8R, Pitchfork, Black Book, and Venus. In the midst of all that, I founded and edited a free print zine in Brooklyn. You can find some of that work in my portfolio. 

I eventually found my way into advertising and merged all things I love: bold visuals, smart writing, and strategic business moves. I've worked for Radical Media, Equinox, and Saatchi & Saatchi, and written for several other brands over the years.

Today as a freelance writer, I work with clients—both big and small—in fitness, fashion, beauty, and travel. I conceptualize and write ad campaigns; develop editorial for blogs and websites; and help concept and manage photoshoots and productions.
